Anime I recommend to watch

Posted by ManaSakura - March 29th, 2016

1. Hetalia: Axis Powers - World Twinkle

This anime by far, is my most favorite. Hetalia re-tells the events of WWI to WWII in a really funny way. The characters are personifications of countries from Asia, Europe and North and South America. While the Japanese dub has humor, the English dub has more humor and adds jokes to give people a good laugh (such as USA saying "China! I choose you!" which is a reference to Pokemon and Sealand claiming he has a birthmark shaped like a transistor radio, however, this is not present in the original Japanese version.) It also gives fangirls squeals, such as in episode 41 where N. Italy asks Germany if what the Allied Forces said about him are true and Germany replies by saying "Ich Liebe Dich", which translates to "I Love You" in German. The English dub voice actors also performed bloopers to make the viewer see what would happen if they did not cooperate. (such as Germany saying "AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! IT'S A TOMATO VAGINA!!!!!" and Japan saying "I can't do anything, right? This is for my hearth (health), right? Oh damn, why do I keep on saying right again?")

2. Free! Iwatobi Swim Club - Eternal Summer

If swimming is your sport, this is for you. Free! is one of my favorite sports anime and features Haruka Nanase, along with Nagisa Hazuki, Rin Matsuoka and Makoto Tachibana who are in a swimming club and are best friends. They also recruited (haha, I can't spell) Rei Ryugazaki. It should be noted that they all have female names.

3. Ouran High School Host Club

School is fun, right? Then you'll love this anime! Welcome to Ouran High! Enjoy your stay! Try to determine who is Hikaru and Kaoru in a game. Can't decide? Too bad! Pinch Honey's cheeks and say hi to Usa-chan! Aw, so cute! Marry Tamaki, he will do anything to make you happy! And what's cool is that he's French-Japanese!

4. Brynhildr in the Darkness

Love defies death. If you love science, then watch this! It's about a young boy named Ryouta Murukami who's childhood friend, Kuroneko (real name unknown) died after falling off the dam. Later, a transferee student by the name of Kuroha Neko is introduced and strangely looks like Kuroneko! What's strange is that she is a witch. What's worse is that someone is out there to get the witches. Ryouta will do anything to protect the girls.

5. Hayate the Combat Butler

Imagine your butler as Hayate Ayasaki, 16 years old, and is the butler of Miss Nagi. He's a charm and fun to have. Just try not to watch a horror R-18 movie, kay?

6. Dangan Ronpa the Animation

Upupupu! I love this anime! The rules are simple. Kill someone without being seen using a weapon from your tool box. A corpse has been found! Use your time wisely to do investigations. Go to the Meeting Room, find out who's the killer. Get it right, he's executed! Get it wrong, you all die and he lives. Be careful!

There will be more later, I have to record a voice bank for a UTAU.
